Australian Beer Company has passionately been developing its Yenda Craft Beer and Pressman’s Cider range since its establishment in December 2013. We also contract brew for both international and local brewing companies. The success of these brands has created opportunities within the Brewing team for Brewing Technicians in order to meet safety, quality, and customer service and productivity targets to support the continued development of our brands at our state-of-the-art brewery in Yenda, New South Wales.

The successful applicant will be required to ensure all Brewing operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner to produce high quality product in accordance with specifications. 

As our Brewing Technician you will provide support in the Brewhouse, Filtration, or Transfer process areas contributing to the production of Beer, Cider and RTDs. Our team is dedicated and enthusiastic about their work and joining us will allow you develop your skills with the guidance of a supportive team. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring of processes within the Brewhouse, Filtration, and Fermentation
  • Quality assurance checks and analysis 
  • Address and seek solutions for risks or identified quality or process issues
  • Carry out scheduled cleaning throughout the process area
  • Ensure compliance to workplace health and safety requirements

About You

We're on the lookout for a proactive team player driven by a passion for learning and further development. You'll be a great fit for the role if you have a passion or interest in brewing, in addition to:

  • Experience as a process operator in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in an FMCG environment, ideally Food & Beverage
  • Great attention to detail and problem solving skills, with experience using a systematic approach to identify and rectify issues
  • A positive attitude and desire to learn
  • The physical capacity to perform the manual tasks associated with the position, and commitment to safety as a priority in all areas of your work
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities to continuously improve the safety, quality and efficiency across the brewery
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Forklift licence

Successful applicants must have their own transport and be able to work rotating shifts. All selected applicants will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical which includes a physical assessment and a drug & alcohol test.
