We are seeking an organised and proactive Cellar Administrator to join our Cellar Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Reporting to the Cellar Administration Manager and working alongside a fellow Cellar Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day administration of cellar operations. While each administrator has their own focus areas, the team works collaboratively to ensure seamless support across the cellar. Outside Vintage this is a Day work position. During vintage, the Cellar Administration team will work 8-hour shifts to provide 24-hour administrative coverage.
Acting as a central point of contact, this role supports the ongoing safety, efficiency, and productivity of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Cellar Management team
- Maintain confidential records and filing of reports, correspondence and related material
- Maintain employee leave and training records for Cellar employees
- Liaise with training providers and support workforce training activities
- Identify and monitor training compliance requirements
- Coordinate purchasing and maintain cellar stores, PPE, and operational supplies
- Conduct stocktakes and manage inventory levels
- Coordinate bulk wine tanker receivals and dispatches, including transport documentation
- Monitor tanker movements and vintage waste removal activities
- Maintain accurate records to support payroll, compliance, and operational reporting
- Promote and support workplace health, safety, and quality standards
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous administrative experience
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping abilities
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
Desirable Qualifications
- Certificate II or III in Business Administration
- Previous administrative experience in a manufacturing, production, logistics, or similar environment
