About the Role

Casella Family Brands is seeking a passionate and dynamic Communications Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Communications, you will play a pivotal role in driving corporate communications, brand PR, partnerships, events, and internal communications across our portfolio of iconic brands, including [yellow tail], Peter Lehmann Wines, Morris of Rutherglen Whisky, and more.

Working closely with marketing, digital, winemaking, hospitality, and external partners, you'll help bring our brands to life through meaningful storytelling, strategic communications, and experiences that enhance brand reputation and engagement.

What You'll Be Doing

Developing and executing communications strategies that support corporate and brand objectives.

Leading proactive PR programs, media engagement, and reputation management initiatives.

Building and nurturing strategic brand partnerships that drive awareness, advocacy, and commercial outcomes.

Managing sponsorship opportunities and partnership activations, ensuring strong stakeholder relationships and exceptional execution.

Planning and delivering a diverse calendar of events, including trade, consumer, media, influencer, and corporate experiences.

Creating engaging content across internal and external communications channels.

Supporting corporate communications initiatives.

Identifying storytelling opportunities that strengthen brand reputation and connect with key audiences.

Managing relationships with media, industry organisations, and external stakeholders.

Monitoring and evaluating communications activities to measure impact and identify opportunities for improvement.

About You

You are a confident communicator and relationship builder who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, are highly organised, and have a passion for storytelling, events, and building meaningful partnerships.

You'll bring:

Strong media relations and stakeholder engagement skills.

Experience managing events, partnerships, sponsorships, or brand activations.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Strong project management and organisational abilities.

A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Experience in wine, spirits, FMCG, hospitality, or tourism industries will be highly regarded.

Experience Required

At least 5 years of experience in media relations or communications, with a proven track record in developing and executing strategic communication plans.
