We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Tradesperson to support the ongoing operation of our winery and packaging facilities. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the general maintenance of buildings, infrastructure and equipment to ensure maximum operational performance while complying with all company, and WHS requirements.
This role suits a hands-on tradesperson with strong building and property maintenance experience who takes pride in safe work practices, teamwork and continuous improvement.
Key Duties
- Perform maintenance tasks safely and efficiently using approved procedures
- Maintain buildings, equipment and machinery to manufacturer and company standards
- Complete work orders, documentation and risk assessments accurately and on time
- Monitor property condition and report maintenance issues
- Support and direct Trades Assistants
- Maintain high housekeeping and safety standards
- Participate in toolbox talks, training and continuous improvement activities
Essential Requirements
- Relevant trade qualification (Building/Carpentry)
- Minimum 5 years’ building/property maintenance experience
- Current driver’s licence
- Strong organisational, communication and time management skills
- Reliable, self‑motivated and safety focused
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
- Basic plumbing, painting experience
- Food or beverage manufacturing experience
- White Card, First Aid, Forklift, EWP, Confined Space tickets
