We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and proactive team member to join our vibrant Inventory Purchasing team. As an Inventory Purchasing Officer, you will play a key role in providing efficient and effective purchasing services for the business.

Responsibilities

• Purchase materials, equipment and/or supplies at the best price in accordance with purchasing guidelines
• Monitor company purchase orders to ensure orders comply with company policies and procedures in regard to authorisation levels
• Raise purchase orders ensuring orders are confirmed and supplies arrive on site, on time and in full
• Ensure pricing in purchasing system is correct for items purchased
• Liaise with suppliers regarding ordering, quoting, invoicing, timings and quality
• Review and process all invoicing queries and discrepancies
• Run and review daily spreadsheet reports for ordering requirements
• Maintain stock buffer levels in line with Materials Requirements Plan
• Maintain all purchasing records
• Perform Inventory and Purchasing daily administration tasks
• Establish effective working relationship with suppliers

Skills and Experience

• High level of verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with purchasing applications and MSOffice
• Strong customer service skills
• You will be an energetic and proactive team player with a can do attitude.
