An exciting opportunity exists for a Winery Administrator at Baileys of Glenrowan in Northeast Victoria.

Baileys of Glenrowan is a quality winery, steeped in history and heritage, specialising in fine organic red wines and luscious fortifieds. Established in 1870, Baileys has taken the best of the old vineyard winemaking techniques and combined these with a modern interpretation to produce outstanding and truly distinctive wines. From Vintage 2019, Baileys vineyards and entire wine range are now grown, produced and labelled as fully certified organic.

This is a part-time lifestyle role, and as the Administrator you will support the Senior and Operational Winemakers in the day-to-day administration of the Winery site. 

Duties will include:

• General site Administration
• Assist with electronic winery record keeping
• Following up and ensuring Hazard/Incident reports are completed and investigated
• Reviewing training matrix for accuracy and currency
• Print and distribute hazard alerts and print and arrange any Toolbox talks for weekly winery meetings
• Facilitate and prioritise monthly WHS meeting - organise meeting, take meeting minutes & distribute to appropriate parties
• Assist in contractor induction process for new contractors
• Maintain administration and documentation for chemical storage and site housekeeping
• Create purchase requests and coordinate invoice payment for the site
• Coordinate with Ag Vic re Phylloxera requirements- applications
• Coordinate annual wine show template, entries, and distribute results

The ideal candidate will have:

• Demonstrated Administration experience of 1-2 years
• Self-motivated, attention to detail, and strong work ethic
• Ability to work meticulously without supervision
• Team-oriented with a willingness to be involved
• Responsibility for maintaining accurate and timely records
• Strong presentation and communication skills
