We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our Maintenance Team. This role requires a hands‑on, reliable person with a strong mechanical background — particularly in forklift maintenance (LPG, Diesel and Electric) — and the ability to work both in the workshop and out in the field. A can‑do attitude, attention to detail, and flexibility to work outside normal hours during peak seasonal periods are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and effectively maintain a variety of equipment and machinery
• Adhere to company Work Health and Safety procedures
• Carry out scheduled and preventative maintenance programs across all equipment
• Diagnose and respond to breakdowns efficiently and effectively
• Accurately record maintenance activities and service history
• Ensure high-quality workmanship across all engineering and maintenance tasks
• Complete allocated tasks efficiently and to a high standard
• Report any issues that may arise when performing work duties to the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager. This includes quality, safety and machine reliability or performance issues
• Ability to work shifts and weekends when required during Vintage

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

• Relevant trade qualifications: Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, or Cert III Diesel Mechanic (or other relevant trade)
• Strong mechanical background with proven experience in forklift maintenance
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Self‑motivated, organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Current Forklift Licence
