We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and proactive IT Helpdesk Operator to join our team.
Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical support to employees across the business. This role involves diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, managing assigned support tickets in a timely manner, assisting with IT projects, and working closely with users to develop effective solutions to their queries.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols
- General knowledge of computer hardware components
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the business
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a helpdesk or IT support role
- Relevant IT qualification (e.g. university degree or equivalent)
- Experience with virtualised environments
