Morris of Rutherglen is seeking an enthusiastic Kitchen Hand to join our team. The successful applicant will primarily be working in our new state of the art Cellar Door Kitchen that combines seasonal menus, local produce, and a vibrant team culture to deliver memorable moments for our guests.

We’re passionate about creating exceptional food and wine experiences in a welcoming environment. In joining our Team, you will play a key role in preparing seasonal dishes, supporting kitchen operations, and occasionally assisting with front-of-house service during busy periods and events.

Key Responsibilities

• Washing up of all utensils, crockery and glassware
• Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen
• Waste management
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards, including dishwashing and cleaning down
• Set-up, clearing & pack down of public and service areas
• Assisting in the kitchen and food preparation and plating as required

What We’re Looking For

• Applicants must be available to work on a weekend day with additional shifts available as functions and events demand.
• A strong work ethic, genuine interest in food and customer service is required.
• Experience working in a kitchen or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
