We are currently seeking a self-motivated, reliable and detail-focused individual to join our Quality Assurance team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in accuracy, and is eager to develop new skills and build a career within the wine industry.
About the Role
As a Quality Assurance (QA) Laboratory Assistant, you will play an important role in maintaining the quality and safety standards of our products. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting line QA checks and completing quality documentation
- Performing routine testing of bottled wine
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised laboratory environment
- Adhering to all Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) policies and procedures
- Supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives
Rotating Shift Pattern
This position operates on a fortnightly rotating 8-hour shift roster, requiring flexibility to work across:
- Day Shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm
- Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
- Night Shift: 10:00pm - 6:00am
Successful applicants must be willing and able to work all shifts as part of the rotation.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a proactive team member with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Strong literacy, numeracy and communication skills
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word
- The ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn new processes and systems
- Flexibility to work a fortnightly rotating shift roster
- Reliable transport to and from work
- Previous laboratory or quality assurance experience (preferred but not essential)
- Certificate III in Laboratory Operations or equivalent (desirable but not essential)
